The sleeping bag is incredibly soft and comfortable, and surprisingly warm given its material. I tend to keep the thermostat on the cooler side during the winter months, and my daughter loves to curl up on the sofa with this sleeping bag while watching TV. It was a gift for her and she absolutely loves it. One of the best features is the zippered compartment for storing a pillow, which she has already taken advantage of by finding the perfect pillow to fit inside. I also appreciate that the exterior is made of polyester, making it easy to wipe off any dirt or stains, while the interior is a soft plush cotton, making it hypoallergenic. I haven't had to wash it yet, but based on other reviews, I will do so separately on a gentle cycle and dry it with wool laundry balls.

This option is perfect for her because it comes with straps for easy rolling and a carrying bag, and it is soft both inside and out. The blanket features vinyl stars that can be illuminated with a phone light or flashlight, although they are quite faint so using a black light is recommended. We found that using a black light "flashlight" worked well for this. However, we did notice that the blanket sleeping bag doesn't wash very well, as the seams were coming apart on a few sides. Additionally, the straps tend to hang off the bottom, but my cousin doesn't seem to mind too much!

Gone are the days of those noisy, hard-shell and uncomfortable sleeping bags. I am delighted by the arrival of these cozy, plush, and warm bags that are much easier to roll up compared to the older ones. The outer shell is made of a soft, high-pile fabric that feels great to the touch. The inner lining is also plush, although slightly shorter. This bag even comes with a built-in pillow, which is a bonus as it reduces the number of items you need to pack. However, I'm sure a child would still prefer to use *their* own pillow.
Rolling up this bag is much simpler than with the older, hard-shell sleeping bags. It also has elastic loops to secure it when rolled up, making it more compact. It can easily fit in a duffle bag or a larger backpack, leaving enough space for a change of clothes and toiletries.
When it comes to washing, it depends on the capacity of your machine. I have a high-capacity washer that handles this bag well if properly balanced. However, if you have a smaller machine, it would be safer to take it to a laundromat rather than attempting to wash it at home. It is important not to hot-air dry it, as the high-pile plush fabric may curl and frizz. Instead, you should air-dry it on a tumble setting with minimal heat or consider hang-drying it. However, hang-drying may take a while unless you have thoroughly removed as much water as possible or hang it over Damp-Rid buckets.
